Popronde is a nationwide traveling festival that takes place every autumn from September to November, visiting around 40 cities across the Netherlands. For one night, the city center becomes a vibrant festival ground where emerging artists showcase their talent at various venues, including cafes, galleries, theaters and clubs.

House of Confetti is excited to be one of the participating locations this year, featuring three incredible acts: Sono, Min Taka and PXRPLE JAZZ.

Sono: a queer artist with indigenous roots from the Surinamese Arowak tribe. Despite the heavy themes, Sono knows how to wrap indie pop songs in a light-hearted way with soulful vocals and catchy melodies. The playful artist, sometimes compared to an original cartoon character, prefers to color outside the lines and is always authentic.

Min Taka: shares her inner world through genre-bending music that moves between indie and hyperpop. Her sonic universe ranges from intimate and soft to intense electronic chaos. The Istanbul/Rotterdam-based pixie pop artist is on a mission to bridge two worlds and create a girly pop universe.

PXRPLE JAZZ: multi-talented PXRPLE JAZZ delivers an interdimensional show by combining R&B, Pop, Latin, Afro and Mena influences, enriched with impressive visuals and dynamic dancers. The synergistic fusion of music, art and dance creates an expansive, sensory experience that takes its audience on an immersive and narrative journey.
