Popronde Venlo

Popronde is a nationwide traveling festival that takes place every autumn from September to November, visiting around 40 cities across the Netherlands. For one night, the city center becomes a vibrant festival ground where emerging artists showcase their talent at various venues, including cafes, galleries, theaters and clubs.

House of Confetti is excited to be participating as the official after party location this year, featuring two incredible acts: Subject Sue and ARCHANGELS.

Subject Sue: Subject Sue is an Amsterdam based artist who creates electronic dystopian music influenced by ambient techno, minimal EBM and dark synthwave. Her sound is a fever dream of pulsating soundscapes, manipulated archive material (1930-1960) and hypnotic voices that transport you to an alienating, cinematic atmosphere.

ARCHANGELS: ARCHANGELS, an Amsterdam collective, blends witchhouse, EDM and cloud rap with energetic live performances full of hard beats, esoteric lyrics and glitchy visuals. With shows at Paradiso, Melkweg, Radion, internationally in Suriname, and with their own events called G82HEAVEN, they continue to innovate the Dutch underground scene.
